Quranic Learning Station Established for Mid-Shaaban Pilgrims in Karbala

Launched by the Holy Quran Scientific Complex of Hazrat Abbas (AS) Shrine, the initiative aims to teach visitors the proper recitation of the Holy Quran.

Seyyed Sattar Jabbar Obeid, a staff member of the shrine, explained that the institute has been organizing Quranic learning stations during major pilgrimage events, including Mid-Shaaban, for several years.

He emphasized that the station focuses on teaching pilgrims the correct recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha, which holds vital importance in daily prayers.

In addition to the Quranic lessons, the station distributes gifts blessed by the shrine of Hazrat Abbas (AS) to commemorate the Mid-Shaaban pilgrimage.

The Mid-Shaaban Eid, marking the birth anniversary of Imam Zaman (may God hasten his glad advent), falls on the 15th day of the lunar Hijri month of Shaaban (Friday, February 14, this year).
