These technologies have been deployed at key entrances to track movement in real time and manage crowd distribution.

The system detects congestion points, allowing authorities to adjust the flow of pilgrims across high-traffic areas such as the Mataf (circumambulation area) and the Sa’i (walking between Safa and Marwah), especially during peak hours.
By analyzing live and historical data, officials can make informed decisions to improve entry and exit procedures.
Umrah, often referred to as the "lesser pilgrimage," holds special significance when performed during Ramadan. Muslims believe that performing Umrah in this holy month brings greater spiritual rewards, with some traditions stating that it carries the merit of Hajj.
