Najaf Holy Shrine Decorated Ahead of Imam Hassan Birth Anniversary

IQNA – As the birth anniversary of Imam Hassan (AS) approaches, the holy shrine of Imam Ali (AS) in Najaf, Iraq, has been decorated with flowers.

Beautiful and colorful flowers have been used to adorn different parts of the mausoleum on the auspicious occasion. 

Also, the Dar-ol-Quran Center of the holy shrine’s Astan (custodianship) has planned a special program on the occasion, which includes Quran recitations by a number of renowned qaris.

A Tawasheeh (religious singing) group from Iran will take part in the program, performing Tawasheeh songs.  

The birth anniversary of Imam Hassan (AS), the second Shia Imam, is celebrated on the 15th day of the holy month of Ramadan.

This year, it falls on Sunday, March 16, 2025.

A large number of pilgrims are expected to visit the Imam Ali (AS) shrine on this occasion.
