IQNA – The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah called on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Arab League, the Islamic Ummah’s academic and scientific centers, and the world’s freedom lovers to take immediate action to fulfill their historic responsibility towards the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Israeli settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque

In a statement on Tuesday, Hezbollah strongly condemned the Israeli settlers’ incursion into Al-Aqsa Mosque and carrying out Talmudic rituals there for three consecutive days.

The aim of these incursions and desecrations of the holy site is to create a new and dangerous reality within the framework of the project of settlement building and Judaization to change the Arab and Islamic identity of al-Quds and its holy sites, Hezbollah said.

It added that the Israeli regime wrongly believes that its crimes in Gaza and the West Bank will distract public attention from its repeated aggressions in the first Qibla of Muslims and the heart of Palestine.

The Zionist regime and Israeli settlers have abused religious occasions to desecrate Al-Aqsa Mosque, which has angered all Muslims of the world and provoked the feelings of the Arab and Islamic nations, stressing the need for serious action to stop these aggressions.

The movement added, “Arab and Islamic nations have enough awareness and understanding to raise their voices using the available means, because silence in the face of these aggressions and crimes encourages the Israeli enemy to continue its aggressions in al-Quds, Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria and Yemen and cross the red lines".
