Lebanese Scholars Hail Yemen’s Steadfastness in Defense of Palestine
In a statement issued after its periodic meeting, the association said while all world powers are supporting the Israeli regime’s genocidal war on Gaza and seek to destroy the issue of Palestine, the Yemeni forces attacked Ben Gurion Airport with two hypersonic missiles, forcing the Israeli regime to shut down the airport and suspend flights.
The Yemeni missile operation proved that this great country (Yemen) is defending the Palestinian cause and fighting the battle of the truth against falsehood on behalf of all the freedom-lovers and supporters of the resistance in the world, it added.
The association condemned the expansion of Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip and the attempts by Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu to force Palestinians out of the enclave, stressing that this goal will never materialize and the Zionist enemy will be defeated.
The Palestinian resistance and the people of Gaza are stronger than the Zionists’ killing machine, it said.

The statement also denounced US and Israeli attacks on Yemen, emphasizing that such aggressions will not dissuade Yemenis from continuing the path of supporting Palestine.
Referring to the continuation of the Zionist regime’s aggressive attacks on Lebanon, the association stressed that this issue requires the adoption of a firm, decisive, strong and deterrent position by the Lebanese government.
