The “Al-Kawthar” Quran recitation competition, dedicated to young learners, was recently held in the Hindiya district of Karbala. The event was part of the ongoing initiative titled “Our Children, Our Reciters,” supported by the Quranic Sciences Assembly of the shrine.
According to Al-Kafeel news center, the competition was organized for the third consecutive year by the Hindiya branch of the Holy Quran Center in cooperation with the shrine of Sayyid Muhammad ibn Hamza (AS).
Eighteen children participated in the contest. The event began with a recitation by Mustafa Raheem, one of the participating reciters.

During the ceremony, Karim al-Hindawi, a Quran reciter and representative of the shrine of Sayyid Muhammad ibn Hamza, addressed the attendees. He encouraged the children to take part in Quranic programs and deepen their connection with the holy text.
At the conclusion of the contest, six children were selected as top performers. All participants received awards in recognition of their efforts.
