This is according to the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, saying this amount of Zamzam water was used in the period from Dhu Al-Qidah 1 to Dhu Al-Hijjah 29.
The authority made extensive efforts to ensure the comfort of pilgrims, continuously and professionally transporting Zamzam water from Mecca to Medina around the clock, it said.
These efforts are part of an integrated system dedicated to securing and distributing high-quality Zamzam water through numerous watering points located within the Prophet's Mosque and its courtyards.

Zamzam water comes from a well located within the Grand Mosque of Mecca (Masjid al-Haram), some 21 meters (69 feet) east of the Kaaba.
The Zamzam well is beneath the Mataf area, which is the white marble-tiled space surrounding the Kaaba where pilgrims perform Tawaf.
