Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfiq Al-Rabiah reported that over 3.4 million people attended the Isha and Taraweeh prayers, with an additional 646,600 performing Umrah, Saudi Gazette reported on Saturday.
During the night, approximately 28,200 visitors used mobility carts, while 135,600 benefited from location guidance services. The distribution included more than 42,000 bottles of Zamzam water and 702,000 iftar meals.
Worshippers arrived early, filling the mosque’s corridors, courtyards, and levels, including the Mataf area around the Kaaba. In a calm and reflective atmosphere, they performed prayers, seeking the blessings of Laylat Al-Qadr.

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque coordinated with other authorities to ensure smooth crowd management. Measures included designated prayer areas and assistance for elderly individuals and those with disabilities.
Directional signs were placed for guidance, and sanitation efforts were intensified to maintain cleanliness. Over 33,000 prayer carpets were laid out, and Zamzam water was made available at multiple distribution points, offering both chilled and unchilled options.

Special entrances were allocated for elderly and disabled visitors, with the mosque’s door systems adjusted to manage the flow of worshippers. Emergency response teams were on standby to address any issues.
The night concluded with prayers and reflections, as millions marked the occasion with devotion and spiritual dedication.
