IQNA – Iran’s Islamic Development Coordination Council said “Friday of Anger and Victory” march will be held across the country after the Friday prayers this week.

A rally held in Iran in support of Palestine

The rallies will condemn the Israeli regime’s atrocities in Gaza and express solidarity with the oppressed people of the Palestinian enclave, it said in a statement on Wednesday.

Severe famine, hunger, thirst, displacement, massacre, homelessness, bombing, and the death of children are the daily stories of the most oppressed and alienated people on earth, and the unprecedented pain and pressure on more than 2 million people call all Muslims and freedom-loving people to cry out and take action, the statement read.

“What is happening in the Gaza Strip is the full manifestation of the failure and desperation of a regime that, after months of crimes and bombings, has now resorted to the most despicable methods in the wake of its inability to reach an agreement for a ceasefire and the release of its prisoners.”

The statement added that the brutal attacks by the Zionist regime’s military on the gatherings of Palestinian refugees waiting to receive flour and food is only a fraction of this desperation and brutality.

“This evil regime, under the shameful silence of the international community, is bent on killing the Palestinian people with the tools of hunger and thirst, and the disaster is deepening day by day, and this situation makes the historical responsibility of nations to stand by the truth even heavier than before.”

The Islamic Development Coordination Council strongly condemned these war crimes and emphasized the need for immediate action by the international community, calling for an immediate international investigation into the suspicious American-Israeli mechanism for distributing aid, and warning Islamic and Arab governments that indifference to the unprecedented plight of the oppressed Muslim people of Gaza will have severe worldly and otherworldly consequences.

The statement went on to say that people and Friday prayer worshippers in provincial centers across Iran will take part in the “Friday of Anger and Victory” marches after offering the Friday prayers this week, demonstrating their practical solidarity with the Palestinian people and the oppressed people of the world, and their deep disgust and hatred for the Zionist murderous gang and its main sponsor, the criminal America.
