It resulted in the slaughter of 53 more Palestinians, as six more Palestinians starved to death in the Israeli regime’s campaign of forced starvation, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) said.
Washington, D.C., based CAIR also demanded the immediate release of detainees seized by Israel on Gaza-bound aid ship seeking to break the Israeli blockade humanitarian aid entering the Gaza Strip. Israeli forces detained more than 20 international activists and journalists and seized all the ship’s cargo, including baby formula, food and medicine.
In a statement, CAIR National Deputy Director Edward Ahmed Mitchell said:
“The Israeli government’s so-called ‘tactical pauses’ are a cruel and transparent farce. There is nothing humane or tactical about letting a trickle of aid in after a man-made famine has started while continuing to bomb starving men, women and children, even in so-called safe zones. These actions are not pauses — they are part of an ongoing genocide that the world must act to stop.
“Israel’s systematic campaign of forced starvation, slaughter, mass destruction, and ethnic cleansing demonstrates a total disregard for Palestinian humanity and for international law. No media spin or political cover can justify this brutality. No act of piracy on the high seas can hide the Israeli government’s crimes against humanity.
“No more statements. Our government, western nations and Arab Muslim nations must act immediately to end the genocide, allow unfettered humanitarian aid into Gaza, secure the release of all captives and political prisoners, and hold Israeli leaders accountable for war crimes. Every moment of inaction contributes to the unimaginable suffering of everyone in Gaza.”
On Saturday, CAIR condemned the Trump administration’s complicity as the Israeli government reportedly starved to death five more people, including two children, and killed at least 42 aid seekers today as part of its campaign of mass destruction, slaughter, forced starvation, and ethnic cleansing in Gaza.

Last week, CAIR welcomed the French government’s planned recognition of a Palestinian state and urged other nations across the world to take similar action as one way to respond to Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
CAIR also says that Israeli soldiers should continue to face arrest when they travel to nation that apply international law to those committing acts of genocide. Most recently, the Brussels-based Hind Rajab foundation called for the arrest of an Israeli soldier on vacation in Cyprus.
