The event, held under the slogan “Representing Iraq is an Honor for All,” wrapped up on Saturday, September 6, 2025.
The closing ceremony opened with a recitation of verses from the Quran by al-Amiri. Sheikh Iyad al-Kaabi, head of the Quranic Activities Division at the center and chairman of the jury, delivered remarks.
Al-Kaabi extended gratitude to the organizing and judging committees, media outlets, and all contributors. He then announced the results of the competition.

In the memorization category, first place went to Ali Aqeel Khalil, followed by Ali Akram Na’is in second, and Haider Sharqi Thamer in third.
In the recitation category, Abdullah Zuhair al-Husseini took first place, Mustafa Abdul-Sada placed second, and Mohammed Mustafa Qattad came third.
The ceremony concluded with awards for the winners as well as recognition of the organizing and judging committees.
