
The 26th edition of the contest will be organized by the Japan Islamic Trust in line with its efforts to strengthen the connection with the Book of God and encourage memorization and recitation of the Quran among Muslims throughout Japan, the Muslimsaroundtheworld website reported.
The Japan Islamic Trust announced that the preliminary stage of the competition will be held online using the Zoom platform on December 14, and the final stage will be held in person at the Tokyo Camii Mosque and the Diyanet Turkish Culture Center in the Shibuya area on December 30 and 31, 2025.
Registration for this competition will continue electronically until December 7, and participation is possible for all Muslims living in Japan of different nationalities, without any financial costs.
This contest includes various levels for children up to the age of 15, ranging from the non-competitive recitation level for those who have memorized at least one Surah (chapter) of the Quran, to the level of complete memorization of the Quran.
Those in the adult group of 16 years and above, complete in memorization of the Quran.

According to the organizers, the purpose of holding this competition is to strengthen the love for the Quran among the participants and encourage them to improve their recitation and consolidate their memorization of the Word of Revelation.
