‘Yas-e-Quran’ Campaign Launched on Hazrat Zahra Martyrdom Anniversary

IQNA – A spiritual campaign titled “Yas-e-Quran (jasmine of the Quran)” has been launched by the Astan Quds Razavi on the sad occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA).

It is aimed at promoting teachings of Hazrat Zahra (SA) and encouraging Quran learners to carry out devotional, moral and artistic activities.

 This campaign is designed in three parts: the Holy Quran, morality and art, and participants are required to complete all three parts; from reciting Surah Al-Kawthar and performing a secret good deed with the intention of following the Seerah of Hazrat Zahra (SA) to producing works of art with the theme of the character of the great lady.

All Quran learners can participate in this campaign and, with a small step but a big heart, keep the memory of the Lady of Mercy alive.

Shia Muslims and others in different parts of the world hold rituals every year on the third day of the month of Jumada al-Thani in the lunar Hijri calendar (falls on Monday, November 24 this year) to mourn the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA), the beloved daughter of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
