Calling on scholars and community leaders to take the lead, Dar said the Ulema must “champion the cause of unity and solidarity within Muslim Ummah.”

He stressed that the Muslim world possesses remarkable potential but needs cohesion to face the mounting geopolitical and humanitarian crises unfolding across different regions.

Highlighting conflicts in Gaza, IIOJK, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, and recent Israeli attacks on Iran and Qatar, he said the Ummah is confronted with “numerous challenges, which required a collective and united response.”

Dar added, “Be united as no power on earth can harm us,” noting that Allah has blessed Muslim nations with vast human and natural resources.

Reiterating Islam’s position on peace, he stated that Islam “unequivocally denounces terrorism in all its forms and manifestations,” emphasizing that “killing one human is like killing all humanity, while saving one life is like saving all humanity.”

He urged all Muslim states “to join hands to crush the menace of terrorism as ordained by Allah Almighty.”

Dar applauded the Ministry of Religious Affairs for bringing together qaris from around the Muslim world.

This year’s competition featured reciters from more than 40 OIC member countries, marking Pakistan’s largest international Quran recitation gathering to date.

Encouraging organizers to expand the event further, Dar suggested that “next time Qaris from across the world be invited to participate.”

He also announced that the competition would become an annual international feature hosted in Islamabad.

He urged them “to follow the teachings of the Holy Quran and Sunnah,” and cultivate “compassion, humanity, tolerance, and interfaith harmony” as qualities that can fortify the Ummah and help guide Pakistan toward progress and stability.

He further encouraged them “to strengthen their connection with Quran.”

Dar thanked the delegates and envoys from participating countries for reinforcing fraternal bonds among Muslim nations, expressing hope that initiatives rooted in Quranic tradition would continue to deepen unity across the Islamic world.
