IQNA – Since the beginning of the Israeli regime’s genocidal war in Gaza, at least 21 Palestinian have died in the enclave as a result of cold weather and lack of adequate heating.

The Palestinian State Information Office reported on Monday that 21 individuals, including 18 children, have died due to the harsh cold in displaced tents from the start of the Gaza war until January 11, 2026.

It stated that a widespread humanitarian crisis persists in Gaza, due to inhumane policies of the Israeli regime.

"The full and direct responsibility of these crimes and its catastrophic consequences lies with the Zionist regime, along with the policy of gradual murder and hunger and displacement of the people of Gaza," the statement read.
