The qaris participating in the recording of the Tarteel recitations were present at the ceremony held to launch the plan and presented a sample of their recitation according to the narrations of Warsh and Qalun.
Also present at the ceremony were Sayed Ahmed Ould El-Nini, advisor to the Mauritanian president, Sayed Mohamed Abdelkader Ould El-Alade, director general of Mauritanian Radio, a number of officials of this radio, and members of the scientific council of Quran Radio and the Mahzara satellite network.
Sayed Mohamed Amin Ould Talib Othman, secretary general of the Scientific Council of the Mauritanian Quran Radio and the Mahzara Satellite Network, said this ceremony is an opportunity to highlight the efforts of the Mauritanian Radio in promoting the Quran and serving the people of the Quran, who are special servants of God.
He added that the top qaris of the previous Mauritanian Quran competition have been selected to participate in this project after being evaluated by a specialized committee.
He said members of the Mauritanian Quran Radio’s Scientific Council who wish to record their recitation of Quran can also participate in it.

Sayyid Sheikh Ould Sheikh Ahmed, a member of the Quran Collection Committee, also said that the ceremony is a rare event related to those serving the Book of God.
He added that attention to the Quran and Quranic activists is effective in preserving society and strengthening unity and social cohesion.
