Israel Launches Drone Strike in Southern Lebanon

IQNA – In yet another breach of the declared ceasefire, Israel launched a fresh drone strike in southern Lebanon, targeting a vehicle in the town of al-Zahrani.

The attack took place on Wednesday, according to regional news sources.

It was the latest in a series of ceasefire violations by the Israeli regime, with reports indicating that a drone struck a civilian vehicle in the area, causing thick smoke to rise from the site, as shown in images circulated by local media.

Meanwhile, the Israeli regime’s army claimed, as it routinely does, that the strike killed a Hezbollah member in the Sidon area of southern Lebanon.

The Israeli regime has repeatedly justified its ongoing ceasefire violations and its disregard for United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701 by asserting that it is targeting Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon.
