IQNA – An Iraqi political analyst described Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei as a source of stability and pride for Iran.

Iraqi analyst Hassan Darbash al-Amiri wrote an article about the leadership and the people of Iran and the enemies’ attempts against the country.

Hassan Darbash al-Amiri wrote an article about the leadership and the people of Iran and the enemies’ attempts against the country.

“Iran has never been a passing entity in history, but has always been an active and influential force in the path of civilization, shaping human and Islamic consciousness,” he said in the article.

“A people with such a deep history and civilization, such a rich cultural heritage, and such indescribable awareness, cannot be viewed except with gratitude and respect,” he added.

Al-Amiri said it is a blessing from God to Iran that at different times, there have been leaders who have made an impact on society not through wealth or ostentation, but through a simple lifestyle and remarkable honesty. Like the martyr (former president) Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, who was not influenced by wealth, and was not like those who enter the ministry with a worn-out car and leave the country after a few years with huge wealth and sky-high palaces, leaving the country with a huge budget deficit!

“When we compare these experiences with what is happening in other countries in the region - where a certain official enters office with little wealth and leaves with a huge fortune - we realize that these events in our world are not just slogans, but a set of values and consciences,” he stated.

“Also, the existence of a religious authority with a spiritual and moral personality, such as Ayatollah Khamenei, who lives a very simple life and emphasizes the discourse of independence and respect for human dignity and honor, is a factor in the stability and pride of the Iranian nation. Because nations are not only compared with their economic or military power, but also with their ability to maintain their moral identity in a turbulent world.”

Al-Amiri referred to a Hadith from Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) about the Iranian people, saying it also indicates this fact. “(The Prophet) pointed to the Iranians’ ability to transmit faith and knowledge, which is a clear sign that this nation, when it adheres to the essence of religion and not its external aspects, to values and not to immediate benefits, has a new capacity to play its civilizing role. It is narrated that the Messenger of God (PBUH) said, ‘If religion were in the sky, men from Persia would attain it.’”

Al-Amiri said the world today cannot tolerate further divisions, and the nations of the region do not need internal conflicts that are exploited by outsiders. “What these nations need is awareness and wise debate, and the ability to distinguish between constructive criticism and projects that aim to create internal instability in societies.”

He concluded by saying, “Iran, with its history, nation, and capabilities, does not need to be dependent on anyone and does not give up its spiritual and cultural strength; rather, it has always been part of the solution to conflicts in the region. Therefore, preserving this blessing will not be possible by remaining silent in the face of mistakes, but rather through balance, internal reforms, and the awareness that true independence comes with awareness of politics.”
