
Al-Zahraa School in Hajjah governorate on Monday secured the first place in the Quran competition for female students organized by the Women’s Awareness Department in the province.
Al-Nahda and Zainab schools tied for second place, while Sumaya School ranked third.
At the closing of the competition’s first season, Rahma Ishaq, Director of Women’s Awareness at the Guidance Sector, highlighted that the contest targeted fourth-grade students to strengthen their connection with the Quran through memorization and practice.

She added that the competition, which included seven schools, aims to deepen students’ understanding and reading of the Quran and announced that it will become an annual event, encouraging participation in upcoming summer courses focused on proper Quran recitation.
