
Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei denounced the act of terrorism that killed at least 31 people and injured some 170 others.
Baghaei expressed condolences to the families of the martyrs and the government and people of Pakistan and prayed to God Almighty for the recovery and health of those injured in this criminal act.
The Spokesperson emphasized the principled position of the Islamic Republic of Iran in firmly condemning all forms and manifestations of terrorism and violent extremism.
He said that preventing and confronting the ominous phenomenon of terrorism requires cooperation and coordination of all countries in the region and continuous struggle against its perpetrators, organizers, supporters and financiers.
