Ahmed Najaf, the host and editor of the competition, who is an international reciter and media figure, pointed out that the competition mechanism is based on introducing only two reciters from one country, leaving this opportunity open to those with the highest scores from other countries, in order to ensure the participation of the largest possible number of qaris from different geographical locations.
It is worth noting that the jury for the first eight days consists of Munir Al-Aqla from Syria, Sheikh Ahmed Abdul Hakim from Egypt, Jafar Alawi from Iraq, and Abbas Anjam from Iran.

The “Wat Rattal” international competition is the first international television competition for reciting the Holy Quran in the Islamic world.
