IQNA – Following the martyrdom of Leader of the Islamic Revolution, protesters attacked the US consulate in Karachi, Pakistan, on Sunday morning.

According to some reports, the protesters marched toward the consulate.

The reports said there were shooting at the demonstrators from inside the consulate, leading to the death of a number of them.

The angry protesters then stormed the building, setting fire to the American flag and condemning the terrorist attack against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

They also replaced the American flag at the consulate with an Iranian flag.

Some reports said 8 protesters were killed in the clashes and 20 others were wounded.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with a number of top military commanders, was martyred in a US-Israeli attack on his office in Tehran on Saturday morning.
