Martyrdom on Islam’s Path A Sign of Victory: IRGC

IQNA – The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) described the martyrdom of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei by the most wicked terrorists as a manifestation of the rightfulness of this great leader and a sign of victory.

In a statement on Sunday, the IRGC offered condolences to Imam Zaman (may God hasten his glad advent), the Muslim Ummah, Ulema (scholars) and the great Iranian nation on the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei in the month of Ramadan. 

We have lost and are mourning the martyrdom of a noble Leader who was unique in this age in terms of purity of soul, strength of faith, judiciousness, courage in the face of the arrogant and Jihad on the path of God, the IRGCt said.

It added that martyrdom on the path of Islam and Iran is the sign of a victory and getting closer to the goal, stressing that with this martyrdom, the path of Imam Khamenei will not stop but it will make the Iranian nation more determined to continue on this path.

The statement also described the criminal and terrorist move by the US and Israeli regime as a blatant violation of religious, moral, legal and common principles, stressing the Iranian nation’s resolve about a harsh, decisive and regret-inducing retaliation.

Iran early on Sunday confirmed that Imam Khamenei was martyred in the Saturday attack by th US and the Israeli regime.
