Hakim strongly condemned the targeting of the PMU Anbar operations command headquarters, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of a number of commanders and members of these forces, the Iraqi News Agency reported.

Hakim once again called these attacks unjustifiable and emphasized his firm opposition to these actions.

It is worth noting that more than 20 people were martyred and injured in the US airstrike on the PMU headquarters in the Habbaniyyah district in Iraq’s Anbar province.

Saad Dawai al-Baaji, the PMU operations commander, was among those martyred in this attack.

In a statement published on its website, the PMU officially announced the martyrdom of al-Baaji, along with several of his comrades, in this airstrike.

The PMU considered the attack a horrific crime, a clear violation of Iraqi sovereignty, and a serious insult to the blood of the country’s children, emphasizing that this crime once again reveals the aggressive nature of the enemy, which has no regard for international law or respect for humanitarian norms.
