Leader of Islamic Revolution Appreciates Iraq’s Religious Authority, People
In a message, Ayatollah Khamenei appreciated the clear stance of Iraqi religious authority and people against the US-Israeli aggression against Iran and their solidarity with the Islamic Republic.
In recent days, Iraq’s top Shia cleric Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani has issued a call for Muslims to help the people of Iran and Lebanon who have been facing the US-Israeli aggression.
In a meeting with Sheikh Hammam Hamoudi, the head of the Supreme Islamic Council of Iraq, Iranian Ambassador to Baghdad Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadeq delivered the message of Ayatollah Khamenei to the Iraqi official.
The United States and the Israeli regime launched a war of aggression against Iran on February 28.
The war has led to the martyrdom of hundreds of Iranian people and officials, including former Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
