20 More Israeli Merkava Tanks Destroyed by Hezbollah

IQNA – The Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement destroyed 20 Israeli Merkava tanks and targeted the enemy's Tiffen and Al-Kariyot positions and newly established logistical areas with advanced drones and missiles on Thursday.

Confronting the Israeli aggression against Lebanon, Hezbollah targeted the depths of northern occupied Palestine and the enemy's frontline positions with its complex operations in defense of the Lebanese people and in response to the systematic displacement and destruction of villages and towns in the country, Al-Mayadeen reported.

Hezbollah announced that it had targeted the Israeli army's Tiffin base in the east of the occupied city of Acre with a group of suicide drones. War media outlets published images of the operation to target this base.

Hezbollah’s air defense also engaged a Zionist enemy helicopter in the sky of the town of Kafr Qala, forcing it to retreat from Lebanese skies.

The resistance movement also targeted a logistics base belonging to the Zionist army in the town of Karam Ben Zimra with several suicide drones.

Hezbollah’s advanced missiles also set fire to the Keriot area north of the occupied city of Haifa. Hezbollah announced that it carried out this operation in response to the continued bombing of civilians, displacement of people, and destruction of houses by the occupiers.

The towns of Nahariya, Avivim, Shtula, and Al-Malikiyeh, located in the north of the occupied territories, were also targeted with Hezbollah's missiles.

The Lebanese resistance movement has recorded the destruction of a large number of occupiers’ tanks since Thursday morning, reaching 20 tanks. The latest was the targeting of two Merkava tanks in the town of Deir Saryan with guided missiles and decisive hits, bringing the number of tanks targeted in this town to 7.

Hezbollah also targeted 8 Merkava tanks in the town of Al-Qantara with guided missiles and achieved decisive hits. It also targeted 3 Merkava tanks on the hill of Al-Muhaisat in the town of Al-Tayba and 2 tanks in the town of Dabal with guided missiles.

Thus, the number of Merkava tanks destroyed in the continuous operations of the Lebanese resistance movement increased to 75 tanks.

Hezbollah also intensified its attacks on gathering centers and Israeli army barracks and targeted the Liman barracks north of the town of Nahariya on two occasions with suicide drones.

Also, a gathering of Zionist soldiers at the newly established Nimr al-Jamal position opposite the border town of Ulema al-Shaab was targeted by a number of suicide drones.
