Memorial Ceremony for Minab’s Martyred Students Planned in Jakarta

IQNA – Students of Al-Hasana Islamic Elementary School in West Jakarta, Indonesia, will hold a memorial service for the martyred students of the Shajareh Tayyebeh Elementary School in Minab, south of Iran.

The special ceremony will be organized on Wednesday to express their sympathy and solidarity with the families of the martyred students of the school, according to the Iranian Cultural Center in Jakarta.

A group of local officials, staff of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Indonesia, and the families of the Al-Hasana students will attend the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Indonesian children will express their solidarity with the martyred students of the Minab school and the people of Iran by performing cultural programs.

Also, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Indonesia and the Mayor of West Jakarta will deliver speeches.

Poetry readings by students from Al-Hasaneh School, planting saplings in memory of the martyrs of Shajareh Tayyebeh School, and holding a painting competition on the theme of “Solidarity with Iranian Children” will be other parts of the program.

More than 170 students, teachers and family members were martyred in a US strike on the Shajareh Tayyebeh School on February 28, 2026.
