Thai Figures Voice Solidarity with Iran, Condemn US, Zionist Crimes

IQNA – A group of Thailand’s social, cultural, Muslim figures and civil activists held a rally in front of the Iranian embassy in Bangkok to express solidarity with the Iranian people and condemning the hostile actions of the US and the Zionist regime.

They announced their support for the Iranian nation and government by chanting supportive slogans, according to the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization.

Among the slogans chanted were: Death to America, Death to Israel, Iran is not alone, free nations are with Iran, and justice for oppressed nations.

At the beginning of the rally. one of the prominent figures of the Thai Muslim community, referring to the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran in supporting the oppressed nations of the world, stated, "The Islamic Republic of Iran has shown in the past decades that it stands against oppression and occupation and defends the rights of oppressed nations, and we, as part of the Muslim and free community of Thailand, consider it our duty to declare our support and solidarity with the Iranian nation in such circumstances.”

He also referred to the hegemonic policies of the United States and the aggressive actions of the Zionist regime in the West Asian region, considering these actions to be a cause of instability and insecurity in the world and emphasized that the free nations of the world will not remain silent in the face of these atrocities.

Following the rally, representatives of the participating groups prepared an official letter addressed to the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Thailand, in which they declared their support for the Islamic Republic of Iran and emphasized resistance to foreign pressures and threats. The letter stated that the free nations of the world stand with Iran and condemn the hostile actions of the United States and the Zionist regime.

The organizers of the gathering stated that such movements show that the message of resistance and justice of the Islamic Republic of Iran has been heard beyond geographical borders and that many nations and communities in different parts of the world are sensitive to the developments in the region and support the rights of oppressed nations.

A delegation of participants’ representatives, present at the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, presented a letter of support and declaration of allegiance to the Iranian nation to the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Bangkok.

In this meeting, representatives of the Thai community emphasized that their support for Iran, in addition to a political stance, is a moral and humane stance in defending justice and confronting oppression.

In this meeting, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, while appreciating the presence and support of Thai figures and activists, considered this action a sign of deep human and cultural ties between nations and stated that the support of different nations of the world for justice and resistance to oppression indicates the awakening of human consciences at the international level.
