Official Emphasizes Important Mission of Quran Memorizers
Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Taghizadeh, head of the Dar-ol-Quran Karim Organization, made the remarks in a virtual meeting on “Reviewing the Duties and Role of the Memorizers of the Holy Quran in the Current Situation of the Country,” held on Wednesday.
He emphasized the sensitivity of the current situation, saying, “Today, we are in the midst of a serious battle between the fronts of truth and falsehood.”
Referring to the statements of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution about the situation, he said the Leader’s literature and vocabulary are very precise and calculated and should be carefully considered and analyzed, because it shows that this confrontation has reached a decisive point and its future will be decisive.
The confrontation is a ‘life and death war’, Hojat-ol-Islam Taghizadeh said, adding that the result of this battle will either be to enhance the status and influence of the Right Front or to reduce its power and influence. “Therefore, all segments of society must properly understand their role in this field.”
He emphasized the need to pay attention to the requirements of the time, saying that although examining the Quranic dimensions of the personality of religious leaders and elites is an important and valuable issue, “today our priority is to address practical tasks in the field of confrontation.”
He went on to say that one of the most important demands of the Leader from the Quranic society is the discourse-making of key concepts of the Quran.

“Concepts such as Islamic dignity, unity, fighting arrogance and negation of the domination of the infidels must become a general and common belief of the society. Due to their deep familiarity with the divine verses, the memorizers of the Holy Quran have a special capacity to achieve this goal and can transform these concepts into a language understandable to the general public and promote them in the society.”
In another part of his speech, referring to the Quranic teachings about victory on the battlefield, Hojat-ol-Islam Taghizadeh stated, “According to the verses of the Quran, the most important factor for achieving divine victory is collective appeal and trust in God Almighty. When the community of believers gives up hope in anyone other than God with all their being and turns to God, the ground for a definite victory is prepared; this truth is clearly stated in various verses of the Holy Quran.”
