Ceasefire Shows Failure of American-Zionist Enemy: Yemeni Leader
In a speech on Thursday, Abdul Malik al-Houthi said the major aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran was carried out with the aim of implementing a dangerous stage of the Zionist plan.
The current situation is within the framework of the great battle between the axis of Islam, jihad and resistance and the enemies of the Islamic Ummah who have targeted our region, he said.
The existing ceasefire is the result of the America and Israel admitting defeat after their major failure in achieving their goals, he noted, adding that the top goals of the aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran were the overthrow of the Islamic system and gaining domination over the Muslim people of Iran.
The Ansarullah leader said America and Israel are a temporary and aggressive phenomenon that have come to the region with their evil, oppression and crimes and threaten its security and stability.
“The people of the region are rooted and stable, and no one can remove them from the map.”
The Zionist enemy, with its American and Israeli arm, was forced to accept a ceasefire based on two weeks of negotiations, he said.
He went on to say that the enemies aim to eliminate the Islamic Republic and the position of Islam in the face of the Zionist plan.
After suffering heavy casualties and hundreds of deaths and injuries and suffering heavy losses in terms of military equipment and the destruction of American bases in the region, the enemies were forced to cease fire, he stated.
“The United States has lost dozens of its aircraft that were destroyed during its aggression, including fighter jets, transport aircraft, refueling aircraft, early warning aircraft, etc.”
Al-Houthi said the American enemy suffered a major defeat in the operation it planned for Isfahan and has suffered heavy economic losses in terms of the direct cost of the war, the shortage of military supplies, and the need to repair and maintain aircraft.
The American enemy has suffered trillions of dollars in financial markets, rising inflation, high prices even in Europe and elsewhere, as well as in fuel and other goods, and in the agricultural sector, it has suffered huge and unprecedented losses in the last hundred years, he said.
Heavy losses have been inflicted on the Israeli enemy as well after Iran targeted its factories, bases and infrastructure in occupied Palestine, he noted.
