Iranian Qari Mohsen Qassemi’s Quran Recitation in Al-Ameed Competition

IQNA – Iranian qari Mohsen Qassemi recited verses from Surah Ar-Ra’ad in the final round of the third edition of the Iraqi Al-Ameed International Quran Competition.

The competition was held during the holy month of Ramadan and Qassemi won first place in the international Quranic event. 

The competition was held with the participation of nearly 300 reciters from 53 countries, including Egypt, Iran, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Iraq, Libya, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Morocco.

It took place in the preliminary, semi-final, and final stages.

In the final round of the competition, Qassemi recited verses 19 to 28 of Surah Ar-Ra’ad.

Qassemi had previously won fourth place in the 65th edition of the Malaysian International Holy Quran Competition in Kuala Lumpur.
