Int’l Seminar in Qom to Discuss Resistance in Quranic Thoughts of Martyred Leader

IQNA – An international specialized seminar is planned to be held on the theme of resistance in the Quranic thoughts of martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.  

Titled “Jihad, Resistance, and Opposing Arrogance in the Quran Thought of the Martyred Imam”, the seminar will take place in the holy city of Qom on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

It is organized by the International Center for Quran and Propagation (ICQP) of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization in cooperation with Al-Mustafa International University.

Rereading the intellectual system of the martyred Leader (RA) and examining struggle, resistance and fighting arrogance in his Quranic thought are among the goals of the event.

The key themes of the seminar are:

Methodology of Resistance: An analysis of the martyred Imam’s use of the verses of Fath and Nasr.

Geometry of Islamic Power: Explaining the necessity of protecting the Ummah’s independence against arrogance.

Revelational Rationality: An analysis of the characteristics of anti-arrogance based on the logic of the Quran.

According to Hojat-ol-Islam Hosseini Neyshabouri, head of the ICQP, this seminar is a step towards explaining the indissoluble link between the word of revelation and the steadfastness of the Ummah and rereading the Seerah of a personality who turned fighting arrogance into a sustainable global trend.

The seminar is scheduled to be held from 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday in the Aref Assembly Hall of the Imam Khomeini (RA) Complex in Qom.

The papers and achievements of this meeting will be made available to international cultural centers as a reference source.
