Imam Hussein’s (AS) Uprising Illustrated Path of Resistance
In a message issued on the occasion of the coming of Muharram (the first month on the Hijri lunar calendar), Ayatollah Abdul-Amir Qabalan underlined that any resistance that originates from the teachings of Imam Hussein (AS) and his uprising will be everlasting and brilliant, Al-Manar network reported.
He said the uprising of Imam Hussein (AS) reformed all revolutionary movements in the Arab and Muslims world and this path will continue.
Ayatollah Qabalan said the Husseini (AS) discourse does not belong to a certain group of Muslims only but it is one of truth and justice that belong to all humanity.
He urged that all-out efforts should be made to promote the teachings of Imam Hussein (AS) and the Husseini (AS) School.
He underlined that any Arab and Islamic movement that opposes Imam Hussein (AS) and the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) is doomed to fail because it has turned his back on the truth.
Ayatollah Qabalan went on to say that Imam Hussein (AS) was a leader who stood up against injustice and zaid ‘Hayhat Minna Zilla’ (Woe unto the Wretched).
“We should follow this path (the path of Imam Hussein (AS)) and maintain this uprising,” the cleric underscored.
