Larijani Extends Congratulations to Christians on Birth of Jesus (AS)
He sent letters of congratulation to the heads of the legislatures in Christian countries of the world, the Khaneye Mellat Website reported.
“I would like to congratulate you on the birth anniversary of the great prophet of God, and the harbinger of monotheism, piety and human virtues and on the beginning of the New Year,” Larijani said in his congratulatory message.
He underlined that the precious gift of Divine prophets for humanity is peace, dignity, and salvation through fighting injustice and ignorance and upholding justice and spreading Divine values.
Larijani in his message wished for people all over the world a new year full of security, progress and upholding of Divine and human values.
Elsewhere in his message, the Majlis speaker stressed the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Majlis (Islamic consultative assembly) to develop cooperation and consultations with the parliaments of other countries to enhance peace, democracy and calm and to work for resolution of regional and international conflicts.
