Hezbollah Seeking Investigation into Al-Majid’s Death

Lebanon’s Hezbollah seeks investigations into the death of the terrorist leader Majid Al-Majid.

 Sources close to Hezbollah told Kuwaiti daily Al-Ray that the group believes kidney problems could not have caused the death of the Saudi terrorist.

They said Hezbollah believes the death of the Leader of the al Qaeda-linked group that carried out attacks across the Middle East, including the bombing in front of the Iranian embassy in Beirut, was in the interest of Takfiris and their supporters.

They underlined that Al-Majid has been killed to conceal the truth (about his activities and supporters).

Al-Majid is reported to have been detained late in December on his way from Beirut to the Bekaa Valley.  

He died on Saturday, January 4, while in custody in Lebanon, the Lebanese Army said.
