Iranian Cultural Center Holds Quranic Course in Croatia

Iran’s cultural center in Zagreb, Croatia, has recently held a Quranic course in the fields of memorization and recitation.


The course was instructed by two prominent Iranian Quran activists Rahim Khaki and Mutaz Aghayi, IQNA’s Europe branch reported.

The two Quran masters had been dispatched to the European country by the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization.

The program was aimed at enhancing the Quranic skills of reciters, memorizers, Quran teachers and prayer leaders in Croatia.

25 Quran activists and preachers took the Quranic course, according to the report.

Addressing a ceremony held to start the course, Hafez Efendi Aziz Alili, the prayers leader of Zagreb Mosque, highlighted Quranic cooperation between Iran and Croatia’s Islamic centers.

Rahim Khaki also addressed the ceremony, presenting a brief history of Quran recitation and pointing out a number of issues about learning Quran recitation. 

He also elaborated on the Islamic Republic of Iran’s successful Quranic programs and the country’s plan for training 10 million memorizers of the Quran.
