Nat’l Quran Recitation Contest Held in Pakistan

Pakistan’s National Quran recitation contest was held on March 3 by the custodianship of Imam Hussein’s (AS) holy shrine in Islamabad.


According to Al-Kafeel website, the competition was organized in line with the fourth international cultural week of Husseini (AS) holy shrine with the participation of 15 Qaris, under 20 years of age, from different cities of Pakistan.



Al-Kawthar Islamic University of Pakistan also cooperated in holding the competition.



The jury panel of the competition announced that top participants will be awarded in the closing ceremony of the week in Pakistan.



Dissemination of the Quranic culture in the society and enhancing the Quran recitation skills of the country’s Qaris were among the objectives of the contest.



Competitions on Quran memorization, poetry reading and eulogy performance have also been planned on the sidelines of the international week.
