News ID: 1387344
Thousands of Palestinian worshipers performed their Friday prayers near the gates of the Aqsa Mosque and in the Old city of Jerusalem after the Israeli occupation police prevented them from entering the Mosque.

This happened when the Israeli police erected barriers and roadblocks at the Mosque's gates and entrances and barred all the Palestinians under age 40 from entering the Mosque to attend the Friday prayers.

Scores of Palestinians flocked into the areas around the Aqsa Mosque, which the Israeli police blocked, and tried to attend the Friday prayers inside the Mosque compound.

The Israeli restrictions imposed on the entry of the Palestinian natives to their holy Mosque caused widespread anger among them and prompted others to clash with Israeli policemen at the barriers.
