The Women's Activities Unit affiliated with the Quranic Education Center of the holy shrine’s Atsan (custodianship) has organized the courses.  

The summer Quranic courses began on Monday, August 10, after the preliminary conditions were prepared.

Wissam Nazir Al-Dulfi, head of the Quranic Media Center of the Astan, said: the Quranic courses have been held with the participation of 100 female Quran instructors from the center.

They include Quranic, religious, jurisprudential and doctrinal lessons, as well as lessons on thematic interpretation of the Quran, he noted.

He added that 50 supervisors will supervise the organization of Quranic students in different places in the shrine, and 50 buses have been allocated for their transportation.

Al-Dulfi explained that the number of female Quran students accepted in these courses will reach 2,500, who are from different regions of Karbala province, Arab and foreign nationals residing in this province, and from different age groups, so that everyone can learn the sciences of the Quran and expand its boundless culture.

It is worth noting that the administrative, public relations, and service staff have completed the necessary preparations for the implementation of this plan and have made the necessary coordination with the support departments of the Astan.
