Bangladesh Selects Representatives for Iran Int’l Quran Contest

Bangladesh has selected its representatives to participate in the international Quran competition of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

A Qari and a memorizer of the Quran were chosen in a Quran competition held under the supervision of the Iranian cultural center in Dhaka.
It was organized at the Islamic Foundation’s amphitheater for two days earlier this week, IQNA’s South Asia branch reported.
Abu Salih Mousa was the top Quran reciter in the qualifying contest and the jury panel selected Safid Rabbi as the best memorizer.
They will be competing with representatives of other countries at the 31st international Quran competition of the Islamic Republic of Iran in June.
It is annually organized by the country’s Awqaf and Charity Organization.
