Approximately 700 Palestinian children aged between 12 and 17 years old are yearly arrested and investigated in Israeli detention and interrogation centers, according to the report.
The report documented that 230 Palestinian children, under the age of 18 years, are held behind Israeli bars since the beginning of 2014, recording a rise in the number of detained children in comparison to 2013 where 190 were detained in Israeli jails.
In 2013, five Palestinian children were killed by Israeli gunfire, while 2 children were killed since the beginning of 2014 most recently was Youssef Shawamra.
The Israeli occupation authority continued its violations threatening Palestinian children's rights to live safely in their daily life through its demolition, displacement, arrest, and Judaization policies.
