She will represent the Islamic Republic of Iran in the international Holy Quran competition for women in Jordan.
Hailing from the southern city of Shiraz, Hosseinzadeh is one of the country’s top female memorizers of the entire Quran, Vali Yarahamadi, head of the Quranic Affairs Center of the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization said.
He said Iran sends representatives to the international Quranic event in Jordan every year.
According to the official, this year’s contest will kick off in the capital Amman on Thursday, May 1.
He added that the draw will be made on Tuesday for deciding on the date and time when every contender will go on the stage.
Yarhamadi went on to say that Iran’s embassy in Jordan has been very cooperative in facilitating the Iranian Quranic representative’s trip to the Arab country.
