According to the website of the holy shrine, the session was organized in cooperation with Dar-ol-Quran of the Religious Affairs Section of Alavi holy shrine and its Office for Quranic Sessions.
Heidar Rahim, in charge of the publications of the Dar-ol-Quran, said that the session hosted a Quranic delegation from “Bustan-e Quran va Etrat” Institute affiliated to the holy shrine of Hazrat Ma’soumah (SA) in Iran.
The group comprised 30 Quran memorizers and a number of officials and staff of the Quranic institute.
Mahmoud Fakhrayi, head of the institute said that it has trained more than 3000 Quran memorizers in different parts of Iran and organizes monthly pilgrimage to the holy shrines in Iraq.
Fakhrayi thanked the Dar-ol-Quran officials for their warm hospitality and their cooperation in the organization of the Quranic session.
The Dar-ol-Quran of Alavi holy shrine has been hosting various Quranic delegations and figures from different parts of the Muslim world.
Before the Iranian group, representatives of Taha Islamic Center in Hamburg, Germany, were guests of the holy shrine in Najaf.
