Int'l Quran Contest for Muslim Students Helpful in Promoting Quranic Teachings
A prominent Iranian Qari said the international Holy Quran competition for Muslim students helps to promote the Quran.
Masoud Nikdasti told IQNA that the competition's target group is university students and the youth who are very influential in society.
He referred to the Holy Quran as the foundation of unity in the Muslim world and said Quranic activities, including the Quran competition for Muslim students, can help to strengthen Islamic unity.
Nikdasti further urged for planning specialized Quranic programs and workshops on the sidelines of the competition.
The fifth edition of the International Holy Quran Competition for Muslims Students is scheduled to be held in January 2015 by the Iranian Academics' Quranic Activities Organization.
