Brunei Schools Compete in Quran Recitation Contest

Thirteen religious schools took part in a competition that took place at the Field Complex Performance Stage of Temburong District's Civic Centre in Brunei.

The competition is hoped to educate, guide and scout for talents, assimilating and instilling the interest of students in reading the Al-Quran, propagation and delivering of messages that will benefit the community.

Emerging champion of the 'Pre-Quran Recital Supplication' category was Md Nur Aiman Wa'ie Julaihi from Negalang Religious School. Nurul Bazilah Musfirah from Semabat Religious School was the champion of the same category.

The Group Al-Quran Reading Category was won by the Temburong Arabic Preparatory School.

Prizes were presented by the Mosque Affairs Officer for Temburong District, Awg Hj Adam Hj Tengah.
