Iranian Women’s Achievements, A Good Model for Muslim Women

-- Referring to the role of women in recent developments in the Middle East, a teacher of the Center for Development of Persian Language and Literature working at Belgrade University said Iranian women’s achievements are a good model for the Muslim women of the world.
Talking to Serbia TV channel, he referred to the Islamic awareness in the countries of this region and stressing the role of Muslim women’s presence along with the men in the region's revolutions, he said, “In an Islamic view, the role of women in all cultural, social and even political arenas is as important as that of the men because according to Islam a man and a woman have equal rights.”
Nozariyan added that in Iran, women play more effective roles than men in cultural and educational fields. "Over 65 percent of university students and teachers of the country are girls and women. Iranian Muslim women have also had many achievements at the international competitions in sport and art categories.”
He further referred to the presence of Iranian women in government positions such as deputy of the president, minister and member of parliament and stated that Iranian women have respected God’s orders on Hijab while taking presence in various fields.
