Mokhtarnameh to Be Dubbed into Urdu
The historical TV series Mokhtarnameh will be dubbed into Urdu language, the public relations department of Sahar TV network announced.
Mokhtarnameh is a dramatic action television series produced by Sima film based on the life of Mokhtar Abou Obeid Saghafi.
Davud Eskandari, director of Sahar TV’s Urdu section, said so far 30 episodes of the series have been translated and a number of Pakistani and Indian voice actors would soon travel to Iran to start dubbing the work into Urdu.
Asked why the dubbing is not done in India or Pakistan, he said due to the depth of the content and special nuances of the work, it was decided that the dubbing take place in Iran so that it can be better supervised.
