Ayatollah Shahrokhi, Propagator of the Infallibles’ (AS) Teachings
Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Taqi Shahrokhi, who is from Lorestan province, has spent years to spread the teachings of the Infallibles (AS) in South East Asia.
He has served as the Supreme Leader’s representative in South East and South Asian countries like Thailand, Myanmar (Burma), Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India for 16 years, introducing the true Muhammadan Islam, strengthening the status of Tashayu (Shia Islam), answering questions about Shia Islam, and promoting Muslim unity and proximity among Islamic schools of thought.
Ayatollah Shahrokhi has also been active in holding Quranic and Islamic courses, organizing Quran exhibitions and establishing Islamic and Shia institutes in these areas.
Born in Lorestan, Ayatollah Shahrokhi studied religious sciences in Borujerd seminary and then attended Fiqh courses in the Seminary of Qom taught by scholars like grand Ayatollah Mar’ashi Najafi, Ayatollah Soltani Tabatabaee, and Ayatollah Mojahedi.
