The National Center for Quranic Sciences, affiliated with the Shia Awqaf Department in Iraq, concluded its specialized training course for judges of local Quran competitions on Monday evening, with a ceremony at the Imam Ali (AS) Mosque. 

The ceremony was attended by Qari Rafi Al-Amiri, the director of the center, and a number of Quranic and religious figures.

It began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Qari Farhan Al-Arqawizi, after which Dr. Al-Amiri delivered a speech.

In his speech, Al-Amiri emphasized the importance of this course, which had begun in May, and the significance of providing the basis for holding Quranic competitions with qualified judges.

He also appreciated the efforts of the center's teaching staff and their contribution to the success of this specialized Quranic course, and commended the participants for their dedication in developing their judging skills using the latest methods and techniques for Quranic competitions.

At the end of his speech, he thanked the management of Imam Ali Mosque (AS) for their cooperation with the National Center for Quranic Sciences in organizing this course.

Afterwards, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Sarai, the director of Imam Ali Mosque (AS), congratulated the participants on the successful completion of the course and thanked the director of the center and the instructors for their remarkable efforts in spreading Quranic culture and developing the skills of Quranic teachers.
