This is according to Abdol Mohammad Kashian, a PhD student at the University of Imam Sadeq (AS), who, in an interview with IQNA added that the book can provide a model for scholars to benefit from different sciences in their research.
He sadi in Martyr Sadr’s view, Islamic economy can be understood through verses of the Quran and Hadiths by the Infallibles (AS). “What a Muslim scholar does is discovering the principles of Islamic economy through these sources instead of trying to innovate a new method.”
He said Martyr Sadr had a comprehensive character and mastered various religious sciences. “He was also active politically and after the demise of Ayatollah Hakim, he was recognized as the leader of Iraq’s Shi’ites.”
Kashian also highlighted Ayatollah Sadr’s mastery over Western thought and his knowledge of Marxist and socialist systems, particularly their economic structures.
“His mastery over these schools enables him to make strong criticism of Marxist and socialist systems.”
He further described Martyr Sadr’s political approach as one which is opposed to an Islam that is not present in society and does not care about the government.
